The Priory of Les Granges

A warm and welcoming setting to recharge your batteries

at the foot of the Church of Unity

In the heart of the forest, 4 km from Sylvanès Abbey, the "Prieuré des Granges" has been set up in two former monastic barns from the 17th and 18th centuries.

A contemporary cloister, adorned with Byzantine frescoes, harmoniously connects them.

It was founded three decades ago to offer religious men serving the spiritual mission of the Abbey a place of silence and beauty, of prayer and communal life.

Today the Priory of Granges is a reception and accommodation structure with an ecumenical vocation, open to theological research, the organization of conferences, and exhibitions intended for the public.

Welcoming people in residence or passing through.

A large, contemporary building has been constructed housing an elegant library containing thousands of books.

A gallery has been set up to accommodate exhibitions.

An unclassifiable place where the strength of ancient rural architecture happily combines with that of our time and contemporary art.

Spirituality, culture and nature come together to create an intimate and friendly place conducive to rest and rejuvenation.

Eight rooms for one or two people, with bathrooms, are offered at the Priory, as well as a dormitory.

A communal living area is equipped with a kitchen. A kitchen with professional catering equipment is also available.
